Review of Fast Food Nation (2006) by Keir M — 31 Jul 2008
I expected more. While the social commentary is smart and appropriate, this is not one of Linklater's finest works. The most compelling aspects were the cameos, specifically Hawke and Willis. Despite the graphic meat processing scenes, I had a hard time feeling guilty; as if Linklater or the production team hasn't eaten a cheeseburger since making the movie.
.. please.
