I'm a fan of Richard Linklater. I've enjoyed all of his movies at least a little bit. This movie's far from perfect, but it does get you to think. This movie (based on the bestselling book), shows step-by-step what goes into getting you your Double Quarter-Pounder with cheese.
It's not pretty. Even if you're not totally disgusted by the process, it still gets you to acknowledge the brutality that is involved..not just with the animal slaughtering, but the involuntary deeds done by the workers at the hands of their greedy corporate bosses.
