Given how solid and important Schlosser's book is, I was very disappointed with this film. The last 45 minutes, minus the scenes in the slaughterhouse, were muddled and pointless. The story isn't gripping and the characters aren't sympathetic.
A screenwriter, Eric Schlosser is not. Read the book. Avoid the movie.
