Review of Fast Five (2011) by Harry W — 29 Apr 2013
Hobbs: Let me tell you a little something about these two men. One's a former federal officer, been in deep cover for five years. He knows every way you're gonna come for him. The other one's a professional criminal, escaped prison twice, spent half his life on the run avoiding folks like you.
The Fast and Furious franchise has been such a big hit over the past 10 years and they for the most part, keep the entertainment factor very high. Even those most of the actors aren't particularity gifted in their departments, their characters are enjoyable to watch and funny from Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Michelle Rodriquez. Luckily we get to see the whole crew back in Fast Five and you can tell they are having a fun time. The plots are usually of little concern included in such a franchise of this status. The goods are delivered through the action, cars, and oh the woman. Not only is Fast Five the best entry, it's perhaps the best action movie of 2009. I have never seen so much adrenaline fueled action that's so awesome and gleefully destructive particularity near the end. That's what you pay to watch a movie for crying out loud! The addition of The Rock only makes the movie better with his hulking muscles and personality as Hobbs. And he gets to fight Vince Diesel's character for a showdown that lives up to the anticipation. Justin Lin creates his fastest, most furious movie yet and I can't wait for the sequel to arrive again.
