Review of Fast Five (2011) by Justin C — 28 Apr 2015
The desire to switch this film off after only 2 minutes did not inspire confidence in this addition to the long-running franchise & the original dynamic of the first film is completely thrown out the window now as the team head to Brazil for one totally ludicrous situation after another.
The action is marginally better than the previous outing, but the acting, with the exception of Dwayne Johnson, borders on the same scale as Bill & Ted. At one point, I was fully expecting Paul Walker's character to actually say, "Whoa, dude.
".
