Review of Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) by Lamontraymond — 01 Aug 2019

The movie is worth seeing for 3 things only: the great chemistry between the two leads (and the super-fun dialog they read); Vanessa Kirby, who is amazing in her part - have we seen her before? ; and 2 extremely funny cameos by actors who cannot be named lest I spoil the movie.

Idris Elba is essentially wasted - he's robotic and boring. The action sequences are decent, but largely ridiculous. So if you're up for the leads, you won't have a bad time. Just don't expect a great story like the one in Fast 5.
