Review of Fast and Furious (1924) by David M — 28 Apr 2012
Perhaps best known as being an early role for the gravelly voiced Vin Diesel, the original 'The Fast and The Furius' is actually not too bad a movie, even for non-petrol heads such as me. It also spawned a host of sequels, all of which (IMO) were prettry poor.
Perhaps realising this, this film reunites most of the cast from that original - even going so far as to almost exactly copy the name (c'mon folks! You just dropped the 'The' from the front of it!). I admit, the main reason for watching this - preferably recorded, so you can fast-forward all the boring bits (i.e. most of it) - is for the car chases and, in that respect at least, the film doesn't fail.
Just don't be expecting too much else from it ...
