Director Justin Lin certainly has captured the formula that makes these movies a successful franchise.

Tokyo Drift was engaging and fun, but Fast & Furious moves away from the bro-ness of 2 Fast 2 Furious and into the action-crime genre.

Reuniting the majority of the main cast from the first movie and introducing Han from Tokyo Drift to set the timeline as pre-Tokyo Drift was a master-stroke. Paul Walker's character gets to work with Dom again, and the chemistry of those two characters and actors revitalised what was dying in the second film.

The car stunts are very impressive as always, but more so. The story is interesting, but the villain is slightly weak in general.

That being said this movie rights the ship and gives great entertainment.
