Review of Fargo (1996) by Victor M — 27 Mar 2015
"Fargo" is another Cohen brothers' masterpiece. As in "Simple Blood", different murders, which one more absurd than the other. A loser executive, a dysfunctional pair of hitman, a clever pregnant police chief.
When in the beginning of the film you read the opening phrase about being a true story, gave us a light idea of what is coming.
A great combination of black humor, satire and violence. Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare are great like Showalter and Grimsrud. Frances Mc Dormand too, well deserved Academy Award.
