Review of Fargo (1952) by Andrew K — 03 Feb 2013
Aside from it's dated setup, sluggish pacing, lack of direction, and overall dullness, Fargo is good movie...except it isn't. Good directing and an enjoyable Buscemi performance are wasted because this movie has a serious identity crisis and wildly inconsistent tone, none of which is helped that the "based on a true story" claim is a bold-faced lie.
And those damn stupid accents more than overstay their welcome!
