Review of Fargo (1952) by Brian C — 20 Aug 2012
A comedy of increasingly gruesome errors set against the backdrop of one of the most innocently wholesome parts of the country. Unlike your usual stories about dumb criminals, most of which are played for broad stupidity, the criminals here are living, breathing morons who's actions and personalities are completely grounded in reality.
This film would be horrifying if it wasn't so full of wacky irony.
