Review of Fargo (1952) by Al M — 10 Nov 2012
One of the Coen brothers' true masterpieces, Fargo never gets old to me. A truly unique blend of comedy and thriller, Fargo follows the simultaneous saga of a pair of criminals, the family they prey on, and the pregnant policewoman who is on their trail.
Hilarious, twisted, and brilliant, Fargo is a truly original piece of cinema that demonstrates exactly why the Coen brothers should be considered auteurs of the first caliber.
