Review of Fargo (1952) by Aman A — 31 Aug 2014
Wow. Watching this movie a second time recently and it .... well blew me again. Perfect direction if there ever was, this movie opens your mind to circumstantial actions that can destroy you. Long shots with languid camera movement, much like the movie, keeps you entertained while the actors in their innocuous innocence keeps you loving, hating and guessing.
You cannot hate the evil here. You cannot love the good. You just, get blown into this low key, small ambition world where a guy with the hope of making too much too soon, can turn a community around.
. but hey, guess what, the community will still fall straight on its feet.
