Review of Fargo (1952) by Jordan K — 13 Mar 2015
Fargo is an amazing and influential film and is an extremely important pop culture gem of the 1990s - the acting, storytelling, and directing keeps you at the edge of your seat and is a great experience.
A car dealership sales exec, Jerry, finds his wife missing after making a faulty deal with two sketchy criminals, who go on a homicide spree shortly after. As Jerry attempts to resolve the ongoing deal without cop assistance, a pregnant female cop is determined to get to the bottom of it before anyone does.
Fargo is such a great movie and is one of my favorites - Steve Buscemi's varied career hits his all time high in the film, and McDormand and Macy are so realistic and spectacular in their roles. Fargo is a great film for the police drama genre and the 90s decade, as well - it's an ongoing and gripping mystery that goes on to get better and better. Fargo is one of the all time favorites for me.
