Review of Fargo (1952) by Tommy H — 14 Apr 2015
It's brilliant how all the characters get mixed up in each others lives. It's like a modern day Shakespeare drama. It seems every scene is funny or tragic, and every character is funny and tragic.
And what a colorful cast. Everyone is unique and could star in their own movie. As a Canadian, I love their accents and mannerisms. Frances McDormand actually reminds me of my mom. But despite her performance, Buscemi and Macy were my favorites.
Macy with his nervous energy and fiery temperament, and Buscemi who's just crazy in this movie. And the infamous wood chipper scene! It's a classic.
