Carey Mulligan is two dimensional with her emotions. Stern and Happy. She it's hopelessly inexperienced for this role. Hardy's Bathsheba has passion , rage, loss, torment etc and none of this Mulligan can express.
Schoenaerts's portrayal of Gabriel Oak was spot on. Shame he did not have a leading lady with the talents of Meryl Streep.
