Review of Far from the Madding Crowd (2015) by Mike V — 20 Feb 2016
Based on the classic Thomas Hardy novel, this film deals with the fortunes and misfortunes of a strong independent woman in Victorian England. It features a strong performance from Mulligan and contains some beautiful cinematography.
Although the editing is not always fine tuned and their are a few slow periods, the film none-the-less keeps the viewer interested in the characters and the final (though predictable) outcome.
