Review of Far from Men (2015) by Tom H — 21 Oct 2015
Fate throws two men together and they are forced to form a team. Against the stunning backdrop of the Atlas Mountains, they struggle to survive feudal conflicts and the rising Algerian liberation of the mid 50ies.
Carefully and meticulously shot, the characters gain depth and broaden. The underlying existentialist theme is the icing on the cake. Bottom line: fine-drawn, subtle.
