Review of Far from Heaven (2002) by Chase J — 11 Feb 2008
Brilliant is a word that comes to mind when I think of this film. Todd Haynes uses the style of Douglas Sirk to reveal that the 1950's mentality is still present in modern day society and gives Julianne Moore yet another chance to turn in an amazing performance.
Too bad Nicole Kidman's fake nose beat her on Oscar night.
