Review of Far from Heaven (2002) by Mats V — 12 Mar 2008
I can't believe I haven't rated this already! Well, it's one of my favorites and I just rewatched it. The score is beautiful, as are the cinematography and costumes. It's one of Moore's best roles, just when you start to think she does the same (albeit great) performance in many of her films.
Surprisingly good work by Quaid and Haysbert, bringing out a vulnerability to both men who have for so long played gruff and macho. Just a nice, thought-provoking, heartache of a film.
