Review of Far from Heaven (2002) by Nikolas G — 07 Feb 2011
It started out making me feel I was going to hate it (not the biggest fan of Douglass Sirk movies) and then, the issues... they were taken seriously. It's an absolutely wonderful way to ponder through issues of race, homosexuality, and the place of women in between all of this.
And the style of the film. It had purpose. Thank God. Fantastic filmmaking.
