Review of Far from Heaven (2002) by Hannah D — 21 May 2011
I really like how this film appears to have been made in the 1950s! It really is quite sumptuous aesthetically, and Julianne Moore pulls off playing a Fifties housewife with aplomb. She seems to have a real knack for it, having played one in the Hours.
Back in 1950s America having a mixed-race relationship was just as controversial as being gay!
