Review of Far from Heaven (2002) by Anne F — 21 May 2011
This seemed like a parody of a 1950s film and the depiction of a marriage in turmoil was unconvincing to me. The perfect couple who break the rules of accepted behaviour, in a manner that made it seem that 'issues' had been picked to centre the film on, but in a stilted, very formal way that I don't think would have happened even 60 years ago.
