Review of Far and Away (1992) by Markus B — 05 Feb 2018

Interesting movie, very interestingly shows the end of 19th century. Keep in mind that this is where the industrial revolution already changed the world. Interesting to see advanced cities, but at the same time villagers, who still have to work for landlords and don't have their own land.

Also it shows why people emigrated to America so much, they wanted their own land. Also, my ancestor traveled to America for work, maybe this is the America he had seen? Anyways, very interesting to see how people lived in those times.

Makes me want to travel back in time for a few days or so :) The acting is nice, the movie leaves you with a positive note, which is the most important thing.
