Review of Fantastic Voyage (1966) by Lee G — 07 Jul 2007
I know it sounds stupid: A secret government agency drafts a group of doctors and scientists, puts them in a mini-submarine, shrinks them to microscropic size and injects them into the body of a dying man so they can destroy the blood clot in his brain.
Far-fetched, yes. But it grabbed my imagination as a kid -- the special effects are amazing considering the year it was made (1966). You'll never look at surgery quite the same after you see it!
