Fantastic Planet is a vividly animated parable that is equal parts inventive, otherwordly, and sublime. Taking place in a land populated by psychic giants, the plot focuses on a humanoid who strives to make these creatures realize that his race is a sentient group capable of emotion and deserving of dignity.
A jarringly beautiful fable about racism, Fantastic Planet is unique masterwork of art house animation.
