Review of Fantastic Planet (1973) by Sergio S — 29 Jan 2010
I thought this was going to be way weirder and more experimental than it was. But I thought it was perfectly engaging animated film in which human beings are at best pets if not pests in a planet ruled by giant intellectual beings known as Draags.
There are tons of weird psychedelic and surreal visuals. I see this as being remade with "Avatar" technology.
