What artistry! As a life-long Wes Anderson fan, and with so many wonderful masterpieces in his own filmography to compete with, I must say that it was no competition at all. It truly challenged modern animation and made a powerful, nostalgic impression.
Also, the excellent screenplay contributed to the film's beauty and wit.
