Review of Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) by Stanley K — 26 Aug 2013
A slight return to form for Wes Anderson, if only because the story and stop-motion animation allows the director to play to his strength of building a vivid, quirky world unencumbered by reality in which to play out drama centred on a charming but unreliable patriarch.
Not really a kids or even family movie though, it's rather more urban and urbane than that.
