Review of Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) by Hayden H — 19 Jul 2014
This movie takes absolutely all that we love about Wes Anderson's films.
An outstanding direction that takes care of every single detail. A solid script with a flawless character development. A perfect soundtrack that matches each and everyone of the scenes. A incredible voice cast that brings life to the complex yet common characters. Effective cameos (Chef Mario Batali as Rabbit, Jarvis Cocker as Petey and Wes Anderson himself as Weasel) and, to crown it all, an awesome art direction that will make your eyes, not only smile, but shed tears of happiness.
We are facing, probably, the best Wes Anderson movie to date and that is to say something.
