Review of Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) by E L — 28 Jul 2012
I love the charm of old-fashion animation technology, and Wes Anderson's peculiar quirky style works very well in reinforcing that feeling of nostalgia, in its Polaroid-like colouring and dialogue.
There is more overt humour displayed here than in Anderson's other live action films, which is a welcome change from his customary deadpan handling. Lovely and fantastic indeed.
