Review of Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) by Jasen L — 02 Sep 2012
There's a familiar quirkiness here, it's pure Wes Anderson. The Fantastic Mr. Fox has a near perfect mix of adult and child. In style it kInda looks like "A Bear called Jeremy" which instantly brings me back to childhood and TVOntario.
It'll appeal to those that like cute and furry. The dialogue is quick, funny, dry and smart. George Clooney, Bill Murray and Anjelica Huston's voice acting is perfect with lots of character, expression and not too much celebrity.
There's a good message, "about the things that make you different make you fantastic". The run time is perfect (not too long) and of course it has an eclectic soundtrack as is expected with Wes Anderson.
