Review of Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) by Mark F — 16 Jul 2015
Fantastic Mr Fox is one of my favourite Roald Dahl books so I should love this. But I just find it weird. The voice acting seems subdued, Like they were recording at night and trying not to wake the neighbours.
The way the fur on their faces moves when it shouldn't is distracting. The script somehow loses the charm of the Dahl story - it doesn't have his 'voice'. It's just weird.
