Review of Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) by Harrison W — 12 Oct 2015
Wes Anderson's normal techniques seemed less annoying in this film to me. Perhaps I've grown used to them, but I think it had more to do with the stop motion world in which this movie lived. Some of the comedic timing was a bit weird--not unlike Anderson's or Baumbach's other films for that matter), but again, I think that might have had more to do with the stop motion than anything.
I wasn't in love with this movie by any means, but it was perfectly pleasant, although, ultimately, forgettable. Clooney was a great choice. Wish he'd be in more Anderson films.
