Review of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) by Billy B — 22 Mar 2015
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, not as really fantastic, and the Silver Surfer fails to rise up to any high or medium expectations. This movie still captures the nature of the Fantastic Four with a really good starting four, but still fails to capture the portrayal and this time, the development of the villains.
The portrayal of Dr. Doom is decent, but still nothing but a villain with exciting powers with an unexciting personality. The Silver Surfer on the other hand was a big problem. Writers lacked the development of this character as this character doesn't even know what he's doing as he just randomly decides to save the world at the end.
The second installment of the Fantastic Four franchise drags but the team still looks good.
