Utter defecation. This should be considered an overextended version of Fantastic Four. The movie's pace was too slow, the acting was hideous, the jokes were humor-less and the only good thing about the film, the Silver Surfer, was under-utilized.
It seems as if the entire production budget was dedicated to the few minutes that the Silver Surfer appeared in the film. The action sequences were slightly better than the original, but overall, this film was a huge disaster.
The hype was not met in any way, shape or form. My only hope is that the franchise is discontinued heretofore.
