Review of Fantastic Four (2015) by Steve L — 23 Jun 2017
Bottom Line: Fantastic Four (2015) distances itself too far from its predecessor, ultimately draining all the fantastic out of the film.
WIth the exception of the final act, the film's tone and pace shares more in common with sci-fi horror films than the action-adventure super hero genre. Much like films in sci-fi horror, characters are underdeveloped and often weighed down by the gravity of their poor decisions.
