Review of Fantastic Four (2015) by Jivey236 — 25 Aug 2015
A high quality movie with poor cuts that just scratches the surface of the director's intentions. A preface film entirely since they don't get their powers until thirty minutes from the end of the movie, and even when they get their powers they hate each other! The story is completely wrong and Dr.
Doom looks like he's wearing the iron mask from Man in Iron Mask and gets so many powers that he wasn't suppose to get. The final "showdown" - if you can call it that- takes in total about 15 minutes and has zero build up.
The end of the film is corny and will leave you feeling like there's going to be a sequel, even though that would be the worst possible choice to make. The only thing I would say that is good is the actors chosen for the Fantastic Four- not Dr.
Doom, Toby Kebbell seems to ruin every movie he touches, and they played well off of each other, that is when they actually liked each other.
