If you read ultimate fantastic 4 this movie is basically that , you can easily see where the director was going knowing the new line of comic books , it was darker but smarter and I wish it had done better to see a sequel ! The actors were really fantastic ! I can see where they added the reshoots to add more fantastic action however I wouldn't have minded a fantastic movie focused more on the caractéristiques development before they became fantastic , I beleive that this story was never told before and I do love new material !
Overall , I don't think that this movie deserve the hiatus and all the bad critics it got as the movie was very enjoyable .
Super heroes meets actual science !
