Review of Fantastic Four (2015) by R Treybian P — 23 Dec 2016
Truly abysmal. Bunch of angsty teens get drunk, decide to explore another "dimension', and then once there to explore glowing green 'goo' instead of running away from it, like sensible people would.
They are the equivalent of the horror movie cliches of people running toward danger instead of way from it. At that point I'm thinking "Darwinism at work" hoping they all die-- cause that was the only way the movie would have been saved.
But instead they get superpowers, the "big bad government" takes responsibility for their irresponsible behinds, and all they can do is whine about how their lives have been hijacked. And that's BEFORE the worst of the special effects are revealed in the appearance of "Doom" who inexplicably wants to return to the other "dimension" where he is all alone for no good reason and is willing to kill everyone in his way to get there.
At no point is it explained why they don't just let him GO in peace. I would have let the brat do it and good riddance.
