Review of Fantastic Four (2005) by Ninthdoctorguy — 05 Sep 2015
Tim Story's adaptation is not quite as good as Trank's, but was still thoroughly enjoyable. Michael Chiklis was easily the best thing about the film, his portrayal being enjoyable and believable. The rest of the cast sort of stand in his shadow, though Jessica Alba is just here for the looks as her acting is just abysmal.
The special effects were mostly miss, but some were hits. Despite its cons, it does do an aspect much better than Trank's adaptation: the handling of Dr. Doom.
