Review of Fantastic Four (2005) by Oxana — 11 Sep 2014
I've never really followed Fantastic Four, but this film proved to be a decent one in the line of less than complimentary comic-based movies. Not the best by any means but it had a lot of things working for it.
There were laughs, nonchalant and light-hearted moments; the characters worked - and that's the most important aspect.
Of course, a superhero flick is as good as its villain, and I didn't quite grasp Dr. Doom. He was okay, but not amazing. They didn't focus on him enough, I think, to give him depth.
Not the deepest, most dramatic film of all time, or one to provide unexpected turns of events, but it still shines at its own right.
