Review of Fantastic Four (2005) by Joseph H — 18 Apr 2012
It's clobberin' time! Fantastic Four brings one of Marvel's most beloved comics to life in a fun and exciting action/adventure film. While visiting the Von Doom space station, a group of astronauts are exposed to cosmic radiation that gives them extraordinary abilities.
Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, and Ioan Gruffudd makeup the Fantastic Four and give solid performances. Additionally, the special effects are pretty good (with on one or two exceptions), and the score is powerful and dynamic.
With a lot of solid action and a fun, lighthearted tone, Fantastic Four is truly fantastic.
