Review of Fantastic Four (2005) by Brandon W — 08 Sep 2014
When I was young and saw this movie, I thought it was a great movie. But the movie drop so low when I saw the movie again. Even if Fantastic Four was its own movie, it still would've been bad. The best part is Chris Evans, he gets his own energy and is trying to make this movie worked despite some of his goofy moments.
The special effects on him were pretty good, but the rest of it in the movie either looked fake, or uninspired to look at. It was obvious who the villain is, and the villain is every other villains in every superhero movie.
Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffuidd's chemistry is very lacking, and I just don't see what made them together in the first place. If there was more rewrites, it would've been good, and more of the jokes would've been funny instead of like one or two funny moments.
But as is, it's a terrible superhero movie and when it gets compared to other marvel movies, makes this movie even worse.
