Review of Fantastic Four (2005) by Jordan A — 29 Jul 2012
Though the effects and humor were good, this movie can't hide the fact that it's a juvenile attempt to enter the superhero genre. The acting is awful, and the entire movie feels like an extended episode of a simplistic children's television show. Everything was a little too simple. The villain just randomly became evil and power-hungry for no apparent reason. The romance between Mr. Fantastic and Jessica Alba is also ridiculous. They just get married before they actually start dating. The final fight scene is also an anti-climactic let-down.
Rating: 2/10.
