Review of Fantastic Four (2005) by President P — 16 Jun 2013
Really, the most dull superhero team got its own movie, what the hell. Yes folks sadly prior to 2005 someone at 20th Century Fox thought it be a good idea to turn Fantastic 4 into a movie; the result you ask, a very bad film for the most part.
The story is clichéd and is vastly dull and really dry. It drags on for two long hours and really has no good moments. The action is basic and unimpressive, which is a huge glare for a film with an action packed final act.
The cast is uninspired and no one really tried, with the exception of Juilan McMahon as Doctor Doom, he was alright for the most part and portrayed one of the greatest villains pretty well. The writing is clichéd and at its best mediocre, same goes for the direction.
Fantastic Four is a bad superhero movie, but not surprising since the source material is really not good.
