The beginning was a little slow at moments, but other than that I thought this was brilliant. Johnny Depp- really impressed with me with how he toned down from his usual craziness. He is playing a character that looks bizarre but was like someone I could know in real life.

He is persuasive. He is a refreshing villain. Voldemort thrived on the fear of his followers. Grindelwald wants people to come willingly and using almost sales tactics to get them to. There were a lot of new actors and at times almost found myself a bit lost so I can understand if people were confused, but I loved that there was so much detail that I could watch it again and still get more out of it.

The storylines that all joined together at the end were fascinating. The acting on all parts was superb. The CGI was beautiful. Loved going back to Hogwarts. Queenie's storyline really intrigued me and I was definitely invested.

I have a hard time getting invested into the Tina/Newt thing. It feels too rushed to me with not much reason behind it, BUT- not enough for me to dislike the movie as a whole. As you can see. Critic reviews are bad- which I can't see why.

Media seems to want to be harsh for the sake of saving their own journals nowadays so don't listen to them. Majority of audience like it. I look forward to the next and the continuing story.
