Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Sebastian B — 27 Dec 2018
I personally thought this was a really great and yet an incredibly dark movie for âWizarding Worldâ? fans, this movie does require your attention at all times if you lose attention youâ(TM)ll lose your footing with the story; however thereâ(TM)s some really good plot points along with some great twists.
I feel itâ(TM)s a very slow paced plot that moves fast within its numerous sub plots although thereâ(TM)s some awesome pay offs!!! I feel that JK Rowling maybe did get a little carried away when writing this movie as it feels like Iâ(TM)m reading a book within my head.
Thereâ(TM)s easy plot points that become easy plot holes if you donâ(TM)t understand whatâ(TM)s fully happening, Iâ(TM)d give this movie an 8 out of 10 for my own personal rating, Great characters with a great set up for future movies although a lack of a consistently paced plot thatâ(TM)s pathed with all our characters ending in the same place towards the end of the story in very slow way that will get you scratching your head at times but yet snaps you back into itself none the less.
A step up from its predecessor with great character and story development towards the end with CGI effects that rival Marvel Studios and Disneyâ(TM)s Star Wars in my opinion.
