Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Chancey P — 08 Dec 2018
There is a lot to love about this film. Eddie Redmayne captures the nuances of Newtï¿ 1/2(TM)s character perfectly. The ï¿ 1/2fantastic beastsï¿ 1/2Â?, do not disappoint. Iï¿ 1/2(TM)m willfully ignoring Johnny Deppï¿ 1/2(TM)s character, and instead savouring the opportunity to see a young Dumbledore, and get some sense of his personal life.
On a practical note, Iï¿ 1/2(TM)m excited for my kiddo to be old enough to watch it, because itï¿ 1/2(TM)s not often that an autistic protagonist is played in such a way that their neurology isnï¿ 1/2(TM)t the focus of the storyline.
As an autistic person myself, Iï¿ 1/2(TM)m excited to share a rare instance where we can watch someone whoï¿ 1/2(TM)s like us, and beautifully so.
