Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Maxime B — 26 Nov 2018
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is boring and is definitely the worst of all the Harry Potter films. Besides a few scenes of excellent action and great cinematography, the movie doesn't hold its own. There are many characters that aren't developed or serve any purpose besides their original ones. Credences motivations were stale and confusing given they weren't brought up in the first movie. Furthermore, there are too many loose ends that don't get resolved which made for a boring climax. The failure of this Fantastic Beasts sequel is a bit sad given a few changes to the script could have made for a compelling film that competes with the other movie of its franchise.
